In the new Search Ads 360, bid strategies are now organized in a hierarchy comprising sub-manager accounts and client accounts.

Sub-manager account ownership
The new Search Ads 360 sub-manager owner account specifies that a bid strategy is visible when signed into the sub-manager or manager account above the sub-manager account.
Bid strategies created at a sub-manger account level:
- Will be able to use sub-manager level conversions
- Will be available to everyone who can access the sub-manager account(and above)
- Can be applied to campaigns under the sub-manager account
Client account ownership
These bid strategies are client account managed and are linked to the sub-manager account. These are visible at both client account and sub-manager level.
Bid strategies created at a client account level:
- Are owned and managed by the client account
- Are visible within Search Ads 360 and settings can still be managed in Search Ads 360
- May use different conversion sources to Search Ads 360. For example, Google Ads conversions that may not align with the Search Ads 360 sub-manager conversion setting.
- Are visible in reports and filters.
Determining Ownership in Search Ads 360
The "Owner" and "Account type" columns in Search Ads 360 provide insight into ownership. Here's what each column indicates:
- Owner: This column displays the level of bid strategy ownership (sub-manager or client account) and includes the linked account logo.
- Account type: This column differentiates between "Google Ads" (client-account level) and "Search Ads 360" (sub-manager level) bid strategy ownership.
