To avoid damaging your Google Quick Switch adaptor or any connected devices and to reduce the risk of personal injury, discomfort, property damage or other potential hazards, follow the precautions below and those found in the Google Quick Switch adaptor safety information at g.co/pixel/Safety:

  • Handle your Google Quick Switch adaptor with care. You may damage the Google Quick Switch adaptor if you disassemble, drop, bend, burn, crush or puncture your Google Quick Switch adaptor. Do not use the Google Quick Switch adaptor if it is damaged. If using the Quick Switch adaptor for charging function, make sure that the cable, power adaptor and Google Quick Switch adaptor are well ventilated when in use. Using a damaged Google Quick Switch adaptor or power adaptor, or charging when moisture or debris is present, may cause overheating, fire, electric shock, injury or damage to your Google Quick Switch adaptor or other property. Do not expose the Quick Switch adaptor to liquids, which can cause a short circuit and overheating. If the Quick Switch adaptor gets wet, do not attempt to dry it using an external heat source. Do not use the Quick Switch adaptor for charging when wet or in direct sunlight. Your Google Quick Switch adaptor is designed to operate in a dry, indoor environment and is not built for outdoor use. Your Quick Switch adaptor works best in ambient temperatures between 0° and 35°C (32° and 95°F), and should be stored between ambient temperatures of -20° and 45°C (-4° and 113°F). Do not expose the Google Quick Switch adaptor to temperatures above 45°C (113°F) as this may damage the Google Quick Switch adaptor and pose a risk of fire.
  • When using this Quick Switch adaptor for charging function, the Quick Switch adaptor must be used with compatible charging accessories available on the Google Store or at Google-authorised resellers (look for Google's 'Made For' badge). Failure to use compatible charging accessories can cause fire, electric shock, injury or damage to the Google Quick Switch adaptor and the accessories.
  • Do not place metallic or magnetic objects on the exposed pins of the charger when it is plugged in, as this could cause heating of the object or charger.

DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING

Dispose of and transport your Quick Switch adaptor according to local environmental and transportation regulations. Do not dispose of it in normal household waste. For more information on recycling your Quick Switch adaptor, visit g.co/HWRecyclingProgram.

ENVIRONMENTAL RESTRICTIONS

Do not leave your Quick Switch adaptor inside a vehicle or in places where the temperature may exceed 45°C (113°F), such as on a car dashboard, window sill, near a heating vent or behind glass that is exposed to direct sunlight or strong ultraviolet light for extended periods of time. This may damage the Quick Switch adaptor.
