When you add the Play widget through the Google Play app, you can enjoy app organization, discover new content recommended by your apps, and resume content you have in progress directly from your home screen. If you no longer want a Play widget on your home screen, you can remove it.
Remove a Play widget from your home screen
- Find the Play widget on your device's home or app screen.
- Touch and hold the widget.
- Drag the widget to the “Remove” section.
