In your Google Ads account, you can create scripts using Javascript to change bids, pause ad groups, and add keywords. These templates can be used in your account without creating a new script manually. For more information about script templates, visit the Google Ads Developer site.

- Alerts
Start from a script template
Use the following steps to create a script from a template:
Note: The instructions below are part of the new design for the Google Ads user experience. To use the previous design, click the "Appearance" icon, and select Use previous design. If you're using the previous version of Google Ads, review the Quick reference map or use the Search bar in the top navigation panel of Google Ads to find the page you’re searching for.
- In your Google Ads account, click the Tools icon .
- Click the Bulk actions drop down in the section menu.
- Click Scripts.
- Click the plus button and select Start from a template.
- You’ll find a page with some available scripts templates. To create a new script, select Customize.
- Click Save.
If you want to edit an existing script, click the script on the “Scripts” page, then you can edit them using the above instructions, preview them, and save.
