When you get a request from your child to download an app, look at the app's description and permissions to see if the app allows messaging or communication between users.

If you don't want your child use the app, you don't need to approve it.

Note: Previous downloads and content shared through Family Library won't require your approval.

If you're worried about your child being contacted on a site, like a social media service, you can block the site on Chrome.

You can also change your child's settings so they can only visit certain sites, instead of all sites that aren't blocked.

Note: You can only block sites in Chrome on Android devices or Chromebooks your child is signed in to.
