You can make changes to, share, or delete KML files and projects saved to Google Drive in Google Earth. You can also collaborate with multiple users to edit your project via Google Drive.
Tip: Projects on Google Earth can be viewed, but not created, on your mobile devices.
Preview your changes- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- To the left, click Projects .
- Select the project and feature you want to preview, and click Edit .
- To show your changes in presentation mode, click Preview.
- To exit preview mode and make more edits, click Back .
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- To the left, click Projects .
- Select the project you want to present, and click Present.
- To jump to each feature in your project from the Table of Contents, click Next or Back .
- On the left, to exit the presentation, click Back .
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- To the left, click Menu Projects .
- Select the project you want to refresh.
- At the top, click .
Important: All projects are private by default. Only people with the link can view your project. You can change the permissions so anyone with the link can edit your project.
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- To the left, click Projects .
- Select the project you want to share.
- Click Share project .
- Enter names or email addresses of the people you want to share with.
- To just get a link to share, in the top right click Get shareable link.
- To select permissions to edit or view your project, click Edit files directly.
- Click Done.
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- To the left, click Projects .
- Next to the project you want to delete, click Delete .
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- To the left, click Projects .
- Next to the Project you want to pin, click Pin . The Project will move to the top of the list and remain visible on the globe.
Tip: To unpin, click .
Rearrange your projects
- On your computer, open Google Earth.
- To the left, click Projects .
- Click to filter your projects by Title or Last modified date.
Tip: Only pinned projects can be filtered.
