You can use the following scenarios to verify that CPN for Microsoft Entra ID is correctly installed.

Change your password and confirm with the sign-in page
- Sign in to a Chromebook as a SAML user.
- Sign in to the Microsoft My Account portal with your test account, using your existing password.
- Click Change password or, on the left, select Password.
- Sign out and, after some time, the screen displays Sign-in.
- Click Sign-in and follow the flow, in particular provide valid SAML user credentials on the IdP page.
Expected: You are taken back to the active session.
- Sign out again.
Expected: Password is shown, not Sign-in.
Change your password and confirm with the lock page
- Sign in to a Chromebook as a SAML user.
- Sign in to the Microsoft My Account portal with your test account, using your existing password.
- Click Change password or, on the left, select Password.
- Lock the screen and, after some time, the screen displays Verify account.
- Click Verify account. Follow the flow, in particular provide valid SAML user credentials on the IdP page.
Expected: The screen is unlocked and you are taken back to the active session.
- Lock the screen again.
Expected: Password is shown, not Verify account.
Change your password from another device and confirm with the sign in page
- Sign in to a Chromebook as a SAML user.
- Sign in to the Microsoft My Account portal with your test account, using your existing password.
- Click Change password or, on the left, select Password.
- Sign out and, after some time, the screen displays Sign-in.
- Click Sign-in and follow the flow, in particular provide valid SAML user credentials on the IdP page.
Expected: You are taken back to the active session.
- Sign out again.
Expected: Password is shown, not Sign-in.
