Reports that require download

Instant Reporting aims to provide you with almost instant reporting data within Campaign Manager 360 as you format your report. Sometimes, however, it's not possible to provide the data in a sufficient way within Campaign Manager 360 and you’re directed to save and download the report. This can be for a number of reasons such as the time it takes to generate the report is too long, the size of the report is too large, or the report is too complex to display within Campaign Manager 360.

Types of reports that require download

Pivoted reports

Any report that contains pivoted Metrics will require download as the pivoted report can not be displayed in Campaign Manager 360 due to the complexity of the report. Learn more about Pivot data in your reports.

Custom variable related reports

Reports that include metrics related to custom variables such as Custom floodlight variables or Rich media custom variables will require the report to be downloaded due to the time it takes to generate the report. Rather than have you wait within Campaign Manager 360 for the data to populate, you may save and download the report, which you can collect at a later time from the report list view.

Unattributed conversions

Reports that include Unattributed conversion metrics will need to be downloaded due to the time it takes to generate the data. Rather than have you wait within Campaign Manager 360 for the data to populate, you may save and download the report, which you can collect at a later time from the report list view.

The following metrics relating to unattributed conversion will lead to the report needing to be saved and downloaded:

  • Total Revenue + Unattributed
  • Total Conversions + Unattributed
  • Transaction Count + Unattributed
  • Transaction Count

Paid Search related reports

Reports that include some Paid Search dimensions will need to be downloaded due to the time it takes to generate the data. Rather than have you wait within Campaign Manager 360 for the data to populate, you may save and download the report, which you can collect at a later time from the report list view.

The following dimensions relating to Paid Search will lead to the report needing to be saved and downloaded:

  • Paid Search Bid Strategy
  • Paid Search Bid Strategy ID
  • Paid Search Keyword
  • Paid Search Keyword ID
  • Paid Search Labels
  • Paid Search Landing Page URL
  • Paid Search Legacy Keyword ID
  • Paid Search Match Type

Conversion and Floodlight related reports

Reports that include some Conversion or conversion Path dimensions will need to be downloaded due to the time it takes to generate the data. Rather than have you wait within Campaign Manager 360 for the data to populate, you may save and download the report, which you can collect at a later time from the report list view.

The following dimensions relating to Conversion or Conversion Path will lead to the report needing to be saved and downloaded:

  • Activity Date/Time
  • Interaction Channel
  • Channel Mix
  • Interaction Count: Click Tracker
  • Interaction Count: Mobile Static Image
  • Interaction Count: Mobile Video
  • Interaction Count: Natural Search
  • Interaction Count: Static Image
  • Interaction Count: Video
  • Click Count
  • Impression Count
  • Interaction Type
  • Path Length
  • Conversions URL
  • Days Since Attributed Interaction
  • Days Since First Interaction
  • Hours Since Attributed Interaction
  • Hours Since First Interaction
  • Interaction Request URL
  • Floodlight Attribution Type

Other dimensions which require download

Reports that include the following dimensions will need to be downloaded:

  • Keyword
  • Natural Search Engine URL
