Billing profile and invoice settings

In Campaign Manager 360, a billing profile contains all of the details used to generate invoices for your usage of Campaign Manager 360. Billing profiles group together related advertisers and campaigns to share the same billing and invoice preferences. Each advertiser and campaign must be assigned to a billing profile to determine how invoices will be generated. Multiple advertisers and campaigns can be assigned to the same billing profile as long as they share the same invoice settings.

Before you start

You can access and manage Billing if the "Enable billing read & write access for this user" option is selected at the user profile level for the associated account. Your organization admins can grant access for your user profile. Learn more about billing roles and permissions. If you need further assistance with Billing access, contact support.

Please note that Billing functions might not be available for all accounts depending on your location and other factors.

Select a billing profile for a new advertiser

When you create an advertiser in Campaign Manager 360, you'll select a billing profile with the organization name responsible for payment, the bill-to country, the currency to use for your invoices and other invoice options.

  1. Find the "Billing profile" section, then click Edit Edit. The "Select billing profile" page opens. Choose one of 2 options:
    1. If you want Campaign Manager 360 to suggest a billing profile, select Use suggested billing profile. If the billing profile isn't correct, select Browse billing profiles to choose another one.
    2. To choose from all available billing profiles, select Browse billing profiles. A list of available billing profiles opens.
  2. Carefully confirm the Country, Currency and Payments profile ID and other billing profile settings. Click the radio button next to the profile you want to assign to the advertiser.
  3. Click Apply.
  4. Finish filling in the rest of your new advertiser's settings, then click Create. Your advertiser is created and future invoices will be billed using the settings of the billing profile you selected.
Carefully review your billing profile settings and confirm they're accurate. Choosing an incorrect billing profile can cause significant delays in billing and increase risk of account suspension. If you’re unsure of the correct profile, please check with your company's billing contact before proceeding or contact support.

Change the billing profile for your advertiser

You can change who pays for future invoices by assigning your advertisers to an existing billing profile that matches your desired organization name, currency, and other billing settings.

Review a billing profile and invoice settings

A billing profile groups related advertisers and campaigns that share billing and invoice preferences. When selecting a billing profile for your advertiser, carefully review its settings as these will determine how your invoice is generated.

Important: If no existing billing profile matches your needs, create a new one. Changing a billing profile's settings affects all advertisers assigned to it.

Most settings can be self-managed if you have the access rights , but some require contacting Google support.
