Requirements |
Line item |
-
Ad type: The "Display" line item must be used
-
Expected creatives: A display size must be targeted in the line item (for example, 300x250 ).
Ad Manager looks at all sizes to determine eligibility of non-in-stream video and uses the largest of the eligible for rendering (based on aspect ratio and minimum height and width).
|
Additional constraints may make non-in-stream video ineligible. For example, if the ad is in the right or left rail, then Ad Manager may send the request without a non-in-stream placement signal.

Open Bidding
You can request non-in-stream video ads from third-party exchanges with Open Bidding.
When you set up a video yield group, you should choose Banner as the ad format, and Web as the inventory type. Target the inventory that you've activated for non-in-stream video, and add a yield partner that supports this video demand.
If an ad slot is eligible for non-in-stream video, Open Bidding requests may contain both video and display. If the buyer is not opted out of bid flattening, exchanges receive separate requests for video and display.
