You can navigate web pages, select text and click links with your keyboard instead of your mouse. This setting is called caret browsing.
Turn on caret browsing
- On your computer, open Chrome

- Select More
Settings.
- At the bottom left, click Accessibility.
- Turn on Navigate pages with a text cursor.

Settings.Tip: You can also turn on Caret Browsing with the keyboard shortcut F7.
- On Chromebook, the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + F7.
- For Chromebook's built-in keyboard: To use F7, you can either press Search
+ the eighth key, including the ESC in the top row or press Launcher

- For external keyboards: Press the key with an F7 sign.
