Migrating chat messages from Teams is currently in beta and subject to the Pre-General Availability Offerings Terms in the Google Workspace Service-Specific Terms.
The new data migration service is a more recent version of the data migration service. You set up the migration in the Google Admin console, and the migration process takes place in the cloud.
What's migrated?
Use the new data migration service to migrate your users' email data to Google Workspace from another Google Workspace account, an IMAP account, or a consumer Gmail account. You can also migrate your users' chat messages from Microsoft Teams to Google Chat.
